Two women remain in an Arkansas jail Monday, more than a week after their arrests in connection with a scam that allowed them to steal from elderly people, authorities said.

Cassandra Marie Henry, 46, would pose as a home health nurse in teal scrubs and knock on doors, claiming that she had been trying to contact a client in the area but hadn't been able to, according to a Facebook post from the Marked Tree Police Department.

Tiffany Nicole Upkins, 37, was her accomplice, police said. Both were said to be from Memphis.

Henry would ask to use the phone and for a glass of water, and while the victim was out of the room, take their purses containing credit cards, identification and other personal items, the Police Department said. They would reportedly use the credit cards to buy money cards.

The pair did this twice in Marked Tree and possibly other times in surrounding areas, according to police. They were arrested Feb. 13.

Both were still being held at the Poinsett County jail as of Monday evening, with Henry's bond set at $200,000 and Upkins' at $100,000, the post states. Their charges include residential burglary, theft of property, criminal trespassing, purse snatching and obstructing governmental operations.
