Springdale Har-Ber 66, Marion 62

The Wildcats jumped to a 40-29 halftime lead and held off a late charge to claim the Bad Boy Mowers Ronnie Brogdon Classic title Saturday night.

Har-Ber (11-3) placed four players in double figures led by Nick Buchanan's 17 points. Tylor Perry added 16, while Zach Peck chipped in 13 and Jack Ragsdale 10. Perry and Tyler Garrett earned all-tournament honors for the Wildcats.

Rogers Heritage 61, Hoops For Christ 40

The War Eagles won their 10th straight game and claimed the Enid (Okla.) Holiday Classic title on Saturday.

Heritage (11-2) outscored the Warriors 42-21 in the second half to break from a 19-19 halftime tie. Ty Olsen scored a team-high 22 points, including 13 in the second half. Seth Stanley, who was named the tournament most valuable player, added 19. Bryce Breedlove added nine and Dawson Peek eight.

Olsen and Peek joined Stanley on the all-tournament team.

Bentonville West 66, Memphis (Tenn.) Sheffield 42

Gabe Hornsby put on a show in his final game at the Neosho Holiday Classic.

Hornsby, a 6-foot-4 senior guard who started the tournament with no college offers but has two now, scored 17 points, grabbed five rebounds, blocked five shots and had five assists to lead the Wolverines to a victory over Memphis Sheffield for 11th place.

Hornsby was 8 of 10 from the floor with three dunks, giving him a tournament-best eight jams. Senior guard Collier Blackburn added 13 points with three 3-pointers, and twin brother Collin Blackburn added 11 points and five rebounds for the Wolverines (10-3).

Junior guard Kenneth Ingram led the Knights (4-11) with 13 points. Senior guard Quaterrick Rhodes added 10 points with seven rebounds.

Van Buren 59, Neosho, Mo. 40

Jordan West and Mekhi Burnett finished the first half with back-to-back dunks as Van Buren opened a 11-point lead en route to a victory over Neosho in the ninth-place game of the Neosho Holiday Classic.

Junior guard Presley Kindrix led Van Buren (9-5) with 16 points on 7 of 17 shooting with a pair of 3-pointers. Junior K.J. Stewart, a 6-foot-8 center, scored 13 points with seven rebounds, and senior guard Jordan West added 13 points for Van Buren.

Junior guard Kaden King led Neosho (3-11) with nine points.

Rogers 55, Shiloh Christian 34

The Mounties hammered the Saints in the second and third quarters by a combined score of 35-18 to run away with a victory in the fifth place game of the Siloam Springs Holiday Classic.

Rogers led Shiloh Christian 12-10 after the first quarter but outscored the Saints 16-6 in the second to take a 28-16 lead at halftime.

The Mounties took a 47-28 lead going into the third quarter after besting the Saints 19-12 in the third period.

Garrett Dake led Rogers (7-6) with 16 points, while Jake Early and Elliot Paschal each had seven.

Jake Hutchinson led Shiloh Christian (7-4) with 10 points.

Coweta, Okla. 49, Prairie Grove 21

Coweta, Okla., held Prairie Grove to just five points in the second half to claim victory in the third place game of the Siloam Springs Holiday Classic.

Coweta led 15-6 after the first quarter, but Prairie Grove pulled within 23-16 at halftime. Coweta outscored Prairie Grove 11-4 in third quarter to take a 34-20 lead going into the fourth, where Prairie Grove was outscored 15-1.

Andrew Keathly led Prairie Grove with 25 while Gavin Underwood had eight. J.D. Elder led Prairie Grove with five points, while Nick Pohlman and Demarkus Cooper each had four.

Siloam Springs 83, Tulsa (Okla.) NOAH 50

Siloam Springs hit the gas pedal from the opening tip and ran by Tulsa NOAH in the seventh place game.

The Panthers led 28-6 after the first quarter and pulled ahead by 33 points midway through the second before emptying their bench.

Siloam Springs led 48-23 at halftime and 69-38 entering the fourth quarter, which was played with a running clock.

Spencer Lashley and Murphy Perkins each scored 14 points to lead the Panthers (2-12), while sophomore Evan Sauer had 11.

Jaxon Coppinger led NOAH with 14 points.

Gravette 63, Gentry 36

Dayten Wishon had 22 points Friday as Gravette captured the Southwest Invitational title with a win over rival Gentry in a game played at Washburn, Mo.

Chris Childress added 14 for the Lions (11-3), who will host Gentry in a 4A/3A District 1 game Friday night.

Rogers Heritage 64, Bishop McGuiness 53

Seth Stanley poured in a team-high 28 points to lead the War Eagles to their ninth straight win and into the finals of the Enid (Okla.) Holiday Classic.

Heritage (10-2) led 24-21 at halftime but pushed the lead to 41-31 after three quarters. Ty Olsen added 12 points and Dawson Peek 11.

Pea Ridge 58, Mena 43

Pea Ridge outscored Mena 36-16 in the second half to bounce back and claim fifth place in the Kameron Hale Invitational held at Lake Hamilton High School in Pearcy.

The Blackhawks (10-3) trailed 27-22 at halftime but rallied to own a 43-38 lead after three quarters. Pea Ridge then held Mena to five points in the fourth quarter to pull away.

Nick Coble had 15 points to lead a trio of Blackhawks in double figures, followed by Mikey Mahoney with 14 and Hayden Holtgrewe with 11.

Pea Ridge resumes 4A/3A District 1 action Tuesday at West Fork.

Fort Smith Northside 70, Charleston 41

Fort Smith Northside (9-5) was held just a 17-15 lead in the first quarter. Isaiah Joe took over after that and the Grizzlies didn't look back in the third-place game at the Coca-Cola Classic.

Joe, who had a game-high 23 points, had eight second-quarter points, including two dunks, to help Northside take a 41-23 lead heading into halftime.

Northside extended its advantage out to 61-33 heading into the final quarter.

Charleston was led by Brayden Ross, who scored a team-high 20 points for the Tigers (7-4).

Deer 82, Bruno-Pyatt 51

Dylan Smith had 25 points to lead four Deer players in double figures Saturday as the second-seeded Antlers claimed a first-round victory in the NorthArk Invitational in Harrison.

Caden Young was a close second with 24 for Deer (20-1), which led 28-13 after one quarter and 53-24 at halftime. Evan Middleton and Johnny Smith chipped in 13 and 10, respectively.

Deer returns to quarterfinal action at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday against the winner of Tuesday's game between Western Grove and Highland.

Valley Springs 74, Pocahontas 67

The Tigers earned a big win on Saturday in the Cornerstone Bank Holiday Classic in Berryville as four players scored in double figures.

Dalton Audeoud led Valley Springs with 23 points and Lawson Jenkins scored 21. Ethan Garvin added 12 and Ethan Flud 11 for Valley Springs (18-5).

GIRLS

Van Buren 55, Springdale Har-Ber 31

Van Buren claimed the Neosho Holiday Classic championship trophy for the third consecutive season as the Lady Pointers defeated Har-Ber behind Jamilyn Kinney, who was named the tournament's most outstanding player.

Kinney, a 5-foot-7 senior point guard who has already signed with Belmont, scored a game-high 24 points on 7 of 10 shooting from the floor and 8 of 9 from the free throw line with six assists. Junior forward Kayleigh Evans added 14 points.

Van Buren (9-4) held Har-Ber to single digits in each of the first three quarters and no points in the paint in the first half.

Har-Ber (8-6) was led by senior guard Savanna Collins' 10 points and 3 assists, and Maci Mains added 9 points.

Van Buren joins Morrilton as the other program to earn three straight Neosho Holiday Classic girls championships (2003-05).

Bentonville High 60, Neosho, Mo. 41

Bentonville scored nine straight points to start the third quarter Saturday afternoon and dispatched Neosho in the girls third-place game of the Neosho Holiday Classic.

Fess Hawkins, a 6-foot senior forward scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Tigers (11-2). Maryam Dauda, a lengthy 6-foot-4 freshman center, had 13 points, grabbed nine rebounds, blocked five shots and limited Neosho to 12 points in the paint with her presence.

Sophomore guard Emily Sanders had 13 and senior guard Jaren Hernandez 10 as the Tigers shot 18 of 20 from the free-throw line and 19 of 33 from the floor.

Neosho (7-3) was led by senior forward Makayla Hayes' 19 points and four rebounds.

Bentonville High JV 40, St. Joseph (Mo.) Lafayette 38

Natalie Smith's floater in the paint with 20 seconds left lifted Bentonville's junior varsity team to a victory over Lafayette in the girls fifth-place game at the Neosho Holiday Classic.

Tray Byrd's jumper 10 seconds into the fourth quarter gave the Fighting Irish (7-4) a six-point lead, but Lafayette would not score again in the game. The Lady Tigers (8-2) finished the game on an 8-0 run for the victory.

Sophomore forward Bella Irlenborn led Bentonville, a last-minute replacement after another school dropped out, with 14 points and nine rebounds. Byrd led the Fighting Irish with 24 points, while Jada Johnson added 11.

Oklahoma City Storm 67, Rogers Heritage 65 (OT)

The Storm made two free throws with 1.5 seconds left in overtime to win the third-place game at the Enid (Okla.) Holiday Classic on Saturday.

Heritage (5-8) led 30-26 at halftime but trailed 46-43 after three quarters. Sydney Kinnamon hit a 3-pointer with three seconds left to send the game into overtime. Kinnamon finished with 19 point for the Lady War Eagles, while teammate Brooke Menke finished a game-high 21.

Obion County (Tenn.) Central 50, Bentonville West 42

West fell behind 27-23 at halftime and went on to suffer a loss to its Tennessee opponent during Saturday's fifth-place game at the Lendel Thomas Classic in Harrison.

Anna Kash led the Lady Wolverines (7-5) with 14 points, 12 of those coming in the first half.

Harrison 40, Huntsville 36 (2 OTs)

Brylie Parker's bucket and Claire Doshier's two free throws were the only scoring in the second overtime as host Harrison edged Huntsville in the third-place game of the Lendel Thomas Classic.

Harrison overcame an 18-13 halftime deficit to force a 32-32 tie at the end of regulation, then both teams scored four points in the first overtime.

Parker finished with 19 points for the Lady Goblins, while Kara Drewyor had 12 and Josie Sisk for Huntsville.

Houston (Texas) Jersey Village 59, Fayetteville 57

Fayetteville led 42-41 after three quarters but couldn't hold on to it Saturday as the Lady Bulldogs lost their second game at the Sandra Meadows Tournament in Duncanville, Texas.

Jasmine Franklin had 22 points to lead three Fayetteville players in double figures, followed by Sasha Goforth with 14 and Coriah Beck with 13.

Gentry 52, Siloam Springs 51

Chastery Faumatu scored with 3.2 seconds left and Haley Hays intercepted a Siloam Springs inbounds pass to give Gentry a 52-51 victory over the Lady Panthers in the seventh place game of the Siloam Springs Holiday Classic on Saturday.

The Lady Pioneers (7-7) rallied from a 47-40 deficit in the fourth quarter and outscored the Lady Panthers 12-4 over the final minutes.

Hannah Boss helped the rally with six straight points in that stretch and she led Gentry with 17 points, while Faumatu had 14 and Hays 10.

Siloam Springs (4-10) also missed four straight free throws in the final 30 seconds, which would have helped the Lady Panthers' cause.

Chloe Price hit six 3-pointers and led the Lady Panthers with 24 points, while Hadlee Hollenback had nine and Morgan Vaughn eight.

Shiloh Christian 42, Prairie Grove 31

Shiloh Christian outscored Prairie Grove 23-15 in the second half to pull away for a victory in the fifth place game of the Siloam Springs Holiday Invitational on Saturday.

The Lady Saints (8-5) led 10-5 after the first quarter and 19-16 at halftime.

Shiloh Christian outscored the Lady Tigers 10-5 in the third period to take a 29-21 lead going into the fourth quarter.

Lia Enos led the Lady Saints with 20 points, while Shea Sandefur had 14.

Larisha Crawford led Prairie Grove (6-8) with eight points, while Aniyah Gibbs had seven.

Coweta, Okla. 48, Claremore 43

Coweta, Okla., topped Claremore, Okla., in the third place game of the Siloam Springs Holiday Classic.

Coweta led 15-6 after the first quarter, but Claremore cut the lead to 21-20 at halftime. Coweta led 34-31 going into the fourth quarter.

Madison Wheat led Coweta with 19 points, while Linda Brice had 11.

Abbey Cox led Claremore with 11 points, while Breanna Farmer and Lauren Hardage each had nine.

PREP WRESTLING

Bentonville takes fourth at Kinloch Classic

The Tigers had six wrestlers place in the top five to finish fourth over the weekend in the 50th annual Kinloch Classic in Springfield, Mo.

Senior Cash Jones was the top individual finisher for the Tigers, taking second in the 160-pound weight class. Charlie March (195) and Chance McCrary of Rogers Heritage also finished second to help the War Eagles take 11th out of 25 teams.

Other medalists for Bentonville were: Jeremiah Fry third at 195, Nathan Desler (160) and Josiah Scates (106) both fourth, Obi Smith (126) and Ethan Crowe (285)both fifth.

Har-Ber finishes fourth in Diamond State Duals

Springdale Har-Ber fell 34-24 to Carthage, Mo., in the third-place match of the Diamond State Duals on Saturday in Wildcat Arena.

Har-Ber finished the two-day tournament with a 6-2 dual record with losses to Nixa, Mo., and Carthage. Ben Fears and Trevor Davis each went 6-0 for the Wildcats over the weekend, while Alejandro Ramirez, Jackson Nichols, Max Salinas and Logan Collins each suffered only one loss.

Bentonville West finished seventh in the 16-team event, defeating Camdenton, Mo., 51-24. The Wolverines finished the weekend 5-3. Connor Klein went 8-0, while teammate Walker Fox had just one loss.
