Police say they are investigating after a woman was shot in northeast Arkansas on Friday night.
Officers responded to a disturbance in the 500 block of North Main Street in Jonesboro about 11:45 p.m., according to a news release.
Police found the victim inside a nearby vehicle with a serious gunshot wound, the release stated. She was reportedly taken to a hospital and said to be in critical condition at that time.
Authorities have named no suspects.
