When the weather forecasters tell you there's a good chance of bad weather 10-12 days away, well, we've said it before and we'll say it again: They don't know. They really don't know.
But when they say there's a chance of snow and ice in less than 48 hours?
Folks, they know. At the least, they have a really good idea--and get better at these short-range predictions every year.
