Little Rock police took two teenagers, including one who was a suspect in a shooting, into custody Thursday after a pursuit, authorities said.

According to an arrest report from the city's Police Department, Kaleb Dequan Patterson, 19, fled from officers in his blue Chevrolet pickup. Patterson struck another vehicle during the chase and did not stop, police spokesman Steve Moore said.

About 2:40 p.m., police took Patterson into custody near the intersection of West 24th and Marshall streets, along with 18-year-old Gary Glenn Bradley. Bradley was wanted on a warrant stemming from a Dec. 1 shooting that wounded 22-year-old Ray McGuire and left bullet holes in a unit of Foxrun Apartments, 1912 Green Mountain Drive, as well as two vehicles.

There was also a minor in Patterson’s vehicle who was released to a parent without any charges, Moore said.

When searching the vehicle, officers found a gun, marijuana and scales, according to police.

As of Friday morning, Bradley was being held at the Pulaski County jail in lieu of $250,000 bond, jail records show.

Patterson was being held in lieu of $30,000 bond. He faces charges that include possession of a controlled substance, fleeing, failure to stop after an accident with injury and reckless driving.
