FAYETTEVILLE -- A Springdale man was sentenced Thursday to more than six years in federal prison for selling methamphetamine.

U.S. District Judge Timothy Brooks sentenced Rudy Mancia, also known as Rudy Espinoza, to 78 months in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release on one count of distribution of meth.

The Drug Enforcement Administration learned in the summer of 2015 that Mancia was distributing meth, according to court records. In February of last year, the DEA arranged and conducted a controlled purchase of meth from Mancia.

Mancia, 31, was indicted by a federal grand jury in June and entered a guilty plea in August.
