Police are investigating the shooting of a 39-year-old man in Little Rock, according to a department spokesman.
Officers were called around 3:17 p.m. Monday to UAMS Medical Center for a report of a shooting victim, an online dispatch log shows.
Lt. Michael Ford, a police spokesman, identified the injured man as Michael Scott of Little Rock. According to Ford, the man was not being cooperative with police, and authorities could not find a crime scene or witnesses to the shooting.
Ford said he did not know Scott’s medical condition but reported the 39-year-old was shot one time in his lower extremities.
The motive in the shooting was unknown Monday.
