A home and multiple vehicles were hit in a drive-by shooting Saturday morning, police said.
Officers were called around 6:30 a.m. to a house in the 6600 block of East Wakefield Drive, according to the report. Eight people inside the home, including three minors, said they were woken up by the shots but didn’t see anything.
A neighbor told authorities he saw multiple people in a white, newer-model, four-door sedan shooting at the residence then driving east on West 65th Street.
There were bullet holes in the home and in three vehicles parked in the driveway and yard, police noted. Officers also counted about 40 spent shell casings in the street outside the residence.
Police have named no suspects, and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
