3 women charged in deadly Arkansas home invasion; resident fatally shot 1 intruder, police say

Formal charges have been filed against three women related to an Arkansas home invasion in which an 81-year-old resident fatally shot a suspected fourth intruder.

Kiana Keshaun Montgomery, 21; Shaynesha Martin, 20; and Ke’Erica Turner, 20, each face one count of aggravated robbery, the Texarkana Gazette reported.

Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Connie Mitchell on Friday approved the formal charges, according to the newspaper.

Montgomery and Turner have been released from the Miller County jail, each on $50,000 bond. Martin remained jailed as of Wednesday morning, and her bail was set at $50,000, records show.

Authorities say the robbery-turned-shooting happened around 1:30 p.m. Nov. 2 at a Genoa home at Arkansas 196 and County Road 290.

The homeowner fatally shot one of four reported intruders at his home — 19-year-old Shemar Davion Harris — during the holdup, police said.

Harris was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Martin and Turner were also among five women sought in July in connection with a brawl at a Raceway convenience store on State Line Avenue, according to the Gazette.
