A body was found in a vacant lot in Hot Springs on Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
Officers were called to the intersection of Spring and Illinois streets shortly after 2 p.m., a news release states.
The body is being sent to the state Crime Lab for an autopsy to determine the individual's identity and cause of death, authorities said.
No further information was released.
