Dine-in movie theater chain scheduled to open Little Rock location next week

Arkansas' first dine-in movie theater is set to open in Little Rock next week.

A spokesman for Movie Tavern said the chain plans to open its location at Gateway Town Center off Interstates 30 and 430 on Tuesday.

According to its website, the theater boasts 11 screens and luxury seats with call buttons for waitstaff.

The theater's menu features appetizers like egg rolls and spinach and artichoke dip, as well as entrees that include burgers, sandwiches and pasta and a full drink menu with beer, wine and mixed drinks.

The films showing at the Little Rock location's first week are Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Proud Mary, The Greatest Showman, The Commuter, Paddington 2, The Post, 12 Strong, Den of Thieves, Darkest Hour and The Shape of Water.

The Dallas-based chain operates 22 locations in 9 states. This is its first in Arkansas.
