in fake bills, punch
A woman who tried to sell her iPhone to a 16-year-old in North Little Rock was handed fake bills then punched in the face, she told police.
The 21-year-old Searcy resident told officers she met the teen Sunday in the parking lot at 400 N. Palm St., the listed address for an apartment complex, after arranging the sale on Facebook.
When the 16-year-old gave her four $100 bills, the woman noticed the money "didn't seem right," she told police. Then the teen hit her and ran off, she said.
An officer noted bruising on the woman's left cheek.
Police did not release the teen's name.

Police say a young father is accused of shooting at a North Little Rock apartment with eight people inside after a child-custody dispute.
An officer responded around 2:15 p.m. Sunday to 3801 McCain Park Drive in reference to shots fired, according to a North Little Rock Police Department report.
A woman at the home told police that the 19-year-old father of two children wanted to take them into his custody but was told no, at which point he began throwing furniture.
After causing damage to a wall, the father threatened to "shoot up" the apartment before leaving in a silver car, the report states.
The woman, as well as seven other people inside the apartment, heard a gunshot a short time later, according to authorities.
Apparent bullet holes were reported found in a front window, near the top of a living room wall and in a bathroom.
The 19-year-old listed as a suspect did not appear on the Pulaski County jail roster as of Tuesday afternoon.

Hundreds of dollars in cash was stolen in the burglary of a North Little Rock restaurant, police say.
According to a report from the city's Police Department, officers arrived at Kanpai Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar, 4120 E. McCain Blvd., shortly before 9 a.m. Sunday.
Authorities noted that the glass in a door on the restaurant's west side had been "entirely busted out." The cash register drawer behind the bar had been pried off its tracks and opened, and the cash register drawer was missing from the kiosk at the hostess station, the report states.
According to the eatery's 64-year-old manager, the hostess cash register contained about $550 in cash. About $15 in change was missing from the bar.
Surveillance footage showed a man enter the restaurant about 3:30 a.m. Sunday and walk directly to the bar, police said. He is seen prying the cash drawer open and then heading to the hostess station and taking that register, an officer wrote.
