2 arrested in shooting that injured man in Northwest Arkansas, police say

Two men have been arrested after a shooting that wounded one man in Fayetteville on Wednesday, the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported.

Officers were called to the 1200 block of North Boxley Avenue about 8 p.m., according to the newspaper.

The victim was reportedly transported to Washington Regional Medical Center. His identity and information about his condition have not been released.

Around 1 p.m. Thursday, Cory Martinez and John Gaylen were arrested at an apartment complex on North Tourmaline Way, police told the Democrat-Gazette.

The arrestee's ages and charges were not released as of Thursday afternoon. Neither of them appeared on the Washington County jail's roster.
