GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The roadblock continued for the Arkansas Razorbacks.
The Razorbacks fell to 0-4 on the road, including 0-3 in SEC play, and lost at Florida for the 13th consecutive time.
The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville hasn't won at Florida since Feb. 28, 1995, when Corliss Williamson scored 20 points, Clint McDaniel and Davor Rimac scored 13 each, and Scotty Thurman added 12 to lead the defending national champion Razorbacks to a 94-85 victory.
Florida began its home winning streak against Arkansas with a 75-62 victory over the Razorbacks on Jan. 5, 1997.
It has been 8,359 days since Arkansas last won at Florida -- or 22 years, 10 months and 20 days.
The Razorbacks' other road losses this season have been to Houston 91-65, Mississippi State 78-75 and Auburn 88-77.
Arkansas' losses in its first three SEC road games equal its total for all of last season, when the Razorbacks finished 6-3 in conference road games.
Hogs hurt
Arkansas was without seniors Anton Beard and Trey Thompson for most of Wednesday night's game because of injuries. Neither played in the second half.
Beard, a starting guard who came into the game averaging 11.1 points, injured his right foot with 5:05 left in the first half. He finished with 2 points, 3 assists and 1 rebound in 13 minutes.
"He tried to wrap it up and go in the second half, but he couldn't go," Arkansas Coach Mike Anderson said.
Florida junior guard KeVaughn Allen was a teammate of Beard's at North Little Rock High School. The two remain close friends.
"It's tough to see him go down," Allen said. "I'm going to check on him to make sure he's all right. Hopefully, there's nothing seriously wrong with him."
Thompson has been dealing with a hamstring injury, Anderson said.
"He's had a pulled hamstring that's bothered him," Anderson said. "It tightened up and he couldn't move,"
Thompson had 2 points and 1 rebound in 6 minutes. He came into the game averaging 3.5 points and 4.1 rebounds and is one of the Razorbacks' best passers.
"It had a big impact on the game," Anderson said of losing Beard and Thompson. "That's two guys that have been with us for four years. A couple bad breaks."
Anderson said he's not sure whether Beard and Thompson will play against Ole Miss on Saturday.
"We've been pretty fortunate in keeping guys healthy," Anderson said. "But it's next man up."
Anderson said Arkansas got "some good minutes" off the bench from Darious Hall, C.J. Jones and Arlando Cook.
Hall, a freshman, started the second half in Beard's place.
"Darious has got to be a warrior now," Anderson said. "He's got to grow up, and he's got to grow up quick."
Barford in bunches
Arkansas senior guard Jaylen Barford scored a career-high 28 points. His previous high was 27 points against Bucknell in the second game of the season.
Barford -- in his second season at Arkansas after transferring from Motlow (Tenn.) State Community College -- hit 10 of 15 shots against Florida, including 5 of 6 three-pointers.
"I thought Barford was terrific," Gators Coach Mike White said. "Coach A and Arkansas ... their player development is obvious.
"I thought he was a very good player last year and the jump he's made to this year in terms of his poise, his shot selection, his three-point percentage, is pretty significant. He's one of the best guards in our league for sure."
Free-throw woes
Arkansas came into the game ranked 13th in the SEC and 303rd nationally in free-throw shooting at 66.5 percent, and things got worse Wednesday night when the Razorbacks shot 6 of 15.
The Razorbacks are now at 57.3 percent (71 of 124) on free throws in six SEC games.
Gator domination
Florida improved to 24-11 all-time against Arkansas, including 19-3 in the past 22 games.
The Gators have won eight in a row over the Razorbacks, including a 5-0 record under Coach Mike White.
"I don't know what to say," White said. "I mean, geez. I have nothing but the utmost respect for their program going back to when I was in high school.
"That's when Arkansas won a national championship [in 1994]. They've had great teams and great players and continued to win. They're one of the most competitive teams in this conference year in and year out.
"Obviously, Florida for a very long time has had a good program as well. But this was a big win for us. I think this particular Arkansas team is very, very good."
Rare three
Arkansas senior forward Dustin Thomas banked in a three-pointer with 17:28 left in the first half.
It was Thomas' first three-pointer of the season and made him 1 of 3 from beyond the arc.
In two seasons with the Razorbacks since transferring from Colorado, Thomas has hit 2 of 8 three-pointers. He was 12 of 52 on three-pointers at Colorado.
Macon starts
Senior guard Daryl Macon was back in the starting lineup Wednesday after coming off the bench for the first time this season against Missouri on Saturday.
Freshman Darious Hall started the Missouri game in Macon's place.
Ole Miss a sellout
Arkansas' game against Ole Miss on Saturday in Walton Arena is a sellout, the UA announced Wednesday.
It's the sixth sellout for the Razorbacks this season. Previous games that sold out are Troy in North Little Rock and against Tennessee and Missouri in Fayetteville.
Games against Oklahoma State on Jan. 27 and Texas A&M on Feb. 17 also have sold out.
Less than 50 tickets remain for Arkansas' game against Kentucky on Feb. 20, according to the UA.
