A Little Rock man who went to a gas station Thursday to buy a cellphone was robbed at gunpoint instead, police said.
The 22-year-old victim said he arranged the purchase of an iPhone X on the letgo app. But when he arrived at the parking lot of the Kum & Go at 7620 Baseline Road shortly before 5 p.m., an assailant got out of a black Ford Focus and into his vehicle, a police report states.
The robber then pulled out a gun and pointed it at him, according to authorities, and told him to hand over his money.
After he gave the gunman $550 and his cellphone, the robber got back into his car and left, heading south on Chicot Road, the 22-year-old police.
The 19-year-old listed as a suspect on the report did not appear on the Pulaski County jail roster as of Friday afternoon.
