A Hot Springs man accused of altering his payroll checks from the restaurant where he worked has been arrested, the Sentinel-Record reported.
Dejuan Deondre Boling, 23, was reportedly taken into custody Thursday. He faces 14 counts of second-degree forgery and one count of theft of property over $1,000.
According to a probable cause affidavit cited by the newspaper, the owner of The Porterhouse, 707 Central Ave., filed a complaint Dec. 8, 2017, that said Boling had altered payroll checks.
The original 14 checks totaled $2,755.68, and the altered checks totaled $6,355.68, a difference of $3,600, the Sentinel-Record reported.
Boling no longer works for The Porterhouse, an employee confirmed Friday.
Records show the 23-year-old remained at the Garland County jail Friday afternoon in lieu of bonds totaling $51,500.
