A 62-year-old Conway woman was killed when her vehicle spun out on an icy highway and hit a tractor-trailer, the Arkansas State Police said.
The crash happened shortly before 11 a.m. Wednesday in the 8000 block of U.S. 167 North in Sheridan, according to a preliminary report.
Authorities said Dorothiea Hyde was traveling south when she lost control of her 2011 Nissan Versa on ice, causing it to spin into the path of a tractor-trailer.
Hyde was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by Grant County Coroner Thomas Berchfield, the report said.
No other injuries were noted.
