An Arkansan was arrested in connection with rape and domestic battery Thursday, the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported.

Arthur James Lewis, 26, was being held at the Benton County jail Friday afternoon, records show. Bail had not yet been set.

Lewis, who lists a Moberly Lane address in Bentonville, is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 26.

Prosecutors have not filed formal charges against the 26-year-old, the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported.
