A man was shot to death at a North Little Rock apartment late Friday night, police said.
Authorities responded to a call of shots fired at the apartment complex. The North Little Rock Police Department said officers went to a unit at 5120 Velvet Ridge Road, which is just north of McCain Boulevard, west of John F. Kennedy Boulevard, shortly after 10:30 p.m.
The officers found Allen Ray McGuire, 58, fatally shot in the residence, and Typris Johnson, 18, who was suffering from an "incapacitating" gunshot wound his arm, a police spokesman said.
No details on how the shooting transpired were released Saturday. Authorities are interviewing witnesses.
