Work on a $100.6 million project to build a U.S. 412 bypass will require extending overnight lane closings on Interstate 49 in Washington and Benton counties through Saturday, the Arkansas Department of Transportation said.
The outside lanes of northbound and southbound I-49 between Wagon Wheel Road in Springdale and Arkansas 264 in Lowell will be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily, weather permitting, to allow the installation of overhead signs. Traffic will be controlled using traffic barrels and warning signs, the department said.
