last year I was trying to make an appointment to see a different doctor in the town I live in and as i was giving my personal information to the appointment desk which included both of my health insurance numbers. she asked me for my SS# I asked her why she needed it. she didn't know said it was on their form. I refused to give her my SS# but offered my driver license # along with the 2 health insurance policies. and she refused to let me make an appt. no SS# no doctor.
