An Arkansas school district will be closed Monday and Tuesday due to a high number of students, faculty and staff being sick.
Basketball games and senior pictures for Mountainburg Public Schools scheduled for those days are postponed, according to a Facebook post.
The two days will be made up Feb. 20 and Mar. 30, the district said.
The post did not specify whether those affected by illness were experiencing flu-like symptoms. Russellville School District closed Friday for that reason, Arkansas Online previously reported.
Arkansas' death toll this flu season is 49, which includes one child between the ages of 5 and 18, the state Department of Health reported Wednesday.
