A gunman who tried to rob a Little Rock wings restaurant Saturday afternoon fled after an employee told him there was no money at the business, police say.

Officers arrived at the Great American Wings, 6326 Colonel Glenn Road, shortly before 4:30 p.m. A 31-year-old employee told authorities that a robber entered the restaurant waving a handgun and demanding money.

The would-be robber was described as a black male who stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 155 pounds.

No suspects were named, and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
