The location’s general manager told Arkansas Online on Tuesday that the dine-in movie theater is currently in its “soft opening” phase. An official opening is tentatively set for March 1.

Showings began Tuesday morning for the Movie Tavern outlet located just off Interstates 430 and 30 on the city’s southwest side.

Films screened at the Little Rock theater in its first week include Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, The Post, The Greatest Showman, Paddington 2, Proud Mary and The Darkest Hour.

Movie Tavern features 11 screens and luxury seats with call buttons for waitstaff. Its menu includes appetizers and entrees as well as a full drink menu.
