A man told police he was attacked with a metal pole at a Little Rock convenience store.
Officers responded around 7 p.m. to Extra Stop 4, 6500 Mabelvale Cutoff Road, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.
The 48-year-old Little Rock resident said someone started hitting him with a metal pole as he was getting into his vehicle. As the victim tried to fight back, the assailant fled the scene, according to authorities.
Police said the man was transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries to his face.
No suspects were named, and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
