Rep special events

The Arkansas Repertory Theatre lists several special events -- except as noted, all at the Rep, 601 Main St., Little Rock -- in connection with its production of The Call:

• Pre-show director talks, 6:15 p.m. Wednesday-Thursday, in advance of the show's two preview performances. Producing Artistic Director John Miller-Stephany and members of the creative team provide insights.

• "Pay What You Can Night," 7 p.m. Wednesday, sponsored by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. Buy tickets in person at the box office on the day of the performance (9 a.m.-curtain). At least 100 tickets will be available; limit: two per person.

• Clinton School of Public Service Distinguished Speaker Series, noon Thursday, Clinton School of Public Service, 1200 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock. A panel discussion featuring Miller-Stephany and members of the cast and creative team.

• Beer Night With Lost Forty and the Arkansas Times, 6 p.m. Thursday, preceding the second preview.

• Opening night dinner, 6 p.m. Friday, Rep Rehearsal Hall, "curated" by Trio's, $55 per person (performance tickets not included). Reservations: (501) 378-0405.

• Opening night party with the cast, following Friday's performance. Sponsored by RSVP Catering and La Marca Prosecco.

• Pay Your Age Night, 7 p.m. Sunday, sponsored by Little Rock Soiree, Legacy Wine and Spirits, radio stations "The Ride" 106.7/"The Point" 94.1. If you're between 22-40, your age is what you pay for tickets (50 tickets available, limited: four per household; proof of age required). Complimentary wine tasting provided by Legacy Wine and Spirits.

• Epilogue: A Conversation With the Actors, following the Jan. 31 performance.

• Panel discussion on international and interracial adoptions, 5:30-6:30 p.m. Feb. 1, Rep Annex, 518 Main St., Little Rock. Moderated by John A. Kirk, director of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock's Anderson Institute on Race and Ethnicity.

• Beer night with Stone's Throw Brewery, 6 p.m. Feb. 1.

• Live From Foster's, 6:30 p.m. Feb. 2, live pre-show music in Foster's, the Rep's mezzanine bar. (No ticket required.)

• Sign-interpreted performance, 7 p.m. Feb. 7.

• The After-Party, after the final evening performance Feb. 11 in Foster's. (No ticket required.)
