CAMDEN -- A man's body was found Monday morning in a field near Adams Street, according to a news release from the Camden Police Department.
Police were sent at 11:44 a.m. to investigate a report of an unresponsive person near a field north of the Camden City Shop, where they found 63-year-old Ivory Donell Haygood dead, according to the release.
Detectives and the Ouachita County coroner also were called to the scene. They reportedly found no visual trauma on the body.
Police said a man discovered Haygood's body while walking along a path near Adams Street. The man saw the body on the ground and went to a nearby friend's house to call 911, the news release said
Haygood's body has been sent to the state Crime Laboratory to determine the cause of death.
