1 killed, 3 hurt in west Little Rock crash, state police say

State police on Thursday identified the Arkansas man killed in a crash in west Little Rock on Jan. 13.

The wreck happened around 6:40 p.m. as David Kris Williams, 31, of Harvey was traveling west on Cantrell Road in a 2011 Chevrolet, according to a report.

In the road's 17700 block, police say, an eastbound 2004 Chevrolet suddenly veered to the left, crossing the center turn lane and colliding with Williams' vehicle.

Williams suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash. Three other people were reported injured. They were not named in the report.

Conditions were said to be clear and dry at the time of the wreck.

Williams' death was one of at least 14 recorded on Arkansas roads so far this year, according to preliminary figures.
