Police have arrested a man who worked at a Little Rock convenience store in the reported theft of hundreds of dollars in lottery tickets from the business.

Jamie Harris, 40, of Mabelvale was arrested about 8:10 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of lottery fraud, records show.

Officers were called about 3:15 p.m. May 16, 2016, to the Phillips 66 gas station at 3515 Baseline Road in reference to a theft, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.

Police said Harris, then an employee at the convenience store, stole about $525 worth of scratch-off tickets over a two-day period and voided them in a computer.

Records show Harris remained at the Pulaski County jail as of Wednesday night, and bail had been set at $10,000. He has a court appearance set for Tuesday.

The Tuesday arrest report described him as unemployed.
