Police identify man critically hurt in shooting in Little Rock shopping center's parking lot

Police on Friday identified a Little Rock man they say is still in critical condition after a shooting Thursday afternoon.

Officers were called to 3901 S. University Ave., the listed address for The Village Shopping Center, about 3:50 p.m., the report states.

A white 1998 Buick Electra was in the middle of the parking lot with the left side of the driver’s-side window shot out, police noted. Setric Millner, 34, was reportedly sitting in the driver’s seat with multiple gunshot wounds to his left arm, left leg and upper torso.

A 20-year-old witness told officers that she heard gunshots after walking out of one of the businesses at that location, then saw someone shooting at the Electra, according to the report.

After firing several shots, the gunman got into a black Chevrolet Suburban and drove off, crossing the parking lot of Wendy’s at 3823 S. University Ave. before heading east on Asher Avenue, the woman said.

Millner was taken to UAMS Medical Center and was in critical condition Friday morning, police spokesman Michael Ford said.

Police have named no suspects, and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
