Armed pair forces way into Little Rock woman's apartment, robs her, police say

A Little Rock woman was robbed at gunpoint by two attackers who forced their way into her apartment, according to police.

Officers were called to Briarwood Apartments, 801 S. Rodney Parham Road, about 12:03 a.m. Monday, a report states.

The 36-year-old victim said she had mentioned having about $350 left from her paycheck while on the phone with her mother as she left her unit earlier that evening. There were a few younger individuals outside a neighboring apartment, she told police.

When she returned later, she entered her apartment and tried to close the door when a male placed his foot in the doorway, the report states. Along with a female, the intruder pushed his way into the apartment, the woman said, and both pointed black handguns at her.

"We know you got $300," the woman said the assailants told her. They repeatedly threatened to kill her if she didn't give them her phone, money and car keys. She complied and they left, according to the report.

Police have named no suspects, and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
