Armed co-workers forced him to drive to bank, withdraw cash, man tells Little Rock police

A Little Rock man was robbed Sunday by two of his staffing agency co-workers, police said.

Officers were called to a home in the 7000 block of Fairfield Drive about 9 a.m. Monday.

The 59-year-old told authorities that two men he recognized from work at Labor Finders had come to his house the day before, and when he let them in, the pair pulled out handguns, telling him to come with them.

The assailants drove the man to Regions Bank, 6101 Baseline Road, and made him withdraw $800 in cash from his bank account, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.

The victim said he had mentioned at work that his wife had recently passed away and that he had her life insurance policy in his bank account. He told investigators he believed the robbers may have heard him.

When the pair brought him home, the report states, they told him they had both been to prison and that if he said anything to anyone they would "blast" him and his home.

The 59-year-old said he waited until Monday morning to report the crime because he wanted to get the names of the attackers from his manager first.

Police named two suspects, ages 47 and 48, but they did not appear in the Pulaski County jail online inmate roster as of Tuesday afternoon. The robbers were said to drive a white 2006 Nissan Altima.
