A 46-year-old Jacksonville man was killed after he was hit by a vehicle early Friday while he was walking on a state highway, authorities said.
It happened shortly before 12:30 a.m. as Daniel Fulmer walked on Arkansas 107 near Driskill Drive, which is north of Jacksonville in northern Pulaski County, according to an Arkansas State Police report.
Troopers said Fulmer died after being hit by a southbound 2006 Hyundai. No other injuries were reported.
The weather was clear and the road was dry at the time, state police reported.
