A mix of 2-D and 3-D artworks is now on display at Boswell Mourot Fine Art. An opening reception for the show at the gallery on Kavanaugh was held June 30 for "New Works by Arkansas Artists Michael Warrick and Elizabeth Weber."
Warrick, a professor of sculpture at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, used a variety of casting and firing techniques to create his sculptures in bronze and clay. Weber works as an artist-in-residence at Arkansas Children's Hospital and Methodist Family Health. Her new work on display includes large colorful abstract paintings.
Both artists were on hand for the reception as was gallery owner Kyle Boswell. The artwork will be on display through July 21.
