Break-in reported at Little Rock Dave and Buster's; pair used pry bar on ATM, police say

Two burglars who broke into Little Rock's Dave and Buster's location early Sunday with a pry bar failed to gain access to an ATM in the business, authorities said.

Officers responded to the entertainment center at 10900 Bass Pro Parkway shortly before 4:30 a.m. because a burglar alarm went off.

A report from the city's Police Department notes that a set of glass doors in the front of the business was broken and had "pry marks" on the handles, while a second set of doors also had pry marks.

Police said security footage showed a gray 2012 Dodge Charger with a spoiler, tinted windows and "factory chrome wheels" pull up at 4:24 a.m., and two people got out.

The thieves reportedly used a pry bar to enter and then tried to use it on an ATM inside Dave and Buster's. They were unable to open it and ran out the building after several seconds, the report states.

Damage to the business's doors was estimated at $5,000.

One burglar was described as a skinny black male who stands 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. A detailed description of the second burglar or the Charger's driver was unavailable.

No suspects were named and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
