Little Rock apartment shot at; four teens arrested

Two Little Rock teenagers face felony charges and two other youths were arrested Saturday, accused of shooting up a Maumelle apartment building.

Officers responded Saturday to a shots-fired call near Arbor Apartments in Maumelle, where witnesses told them several teenage boys in a car had fired multiple shots at an apartment building where one of the teenagers' 14-year-old ex-girlfriend lived, the report said.

After identifying some of the occupants of the car from witness reports, officers said they found all four teenagers at a Little Rock residence. Joshua Andrew Johnson, 18, and Yahman Toney, 16, were arrested alongside two youths who were in the vehicle.

Toney admitted to firing the gun at the apartment but said Johnson told him to do it, police said. Johnson admitted to driving the vehicle, authorities said. Officers also said they recovered a handgun loaded and in plain view, which was reported stolen out of Fayetteville.

Johnson faces charges of felony unlawful discharge from a vehicle, two counts of felony terroristic act and felony theft by receiving.

Toney was charged with felony unlawful discharge from a vehicle, felony terroristic act, felony theft by receiving and felony possession of a firearm by a minor.

Toney was charged as an adult per an order from Jennings Morgan of the Pulaski County prosecutor's office. Morgan also ordered that both boys be held in the Pulaski County jail without bail.
