A Jacksonville man attacked a woman Friday with a metal tube and told her, "I will kill you if you call police," according to police documents.
Jacksonville police officers responded to a disturbance call on Pulaski Drive on Friday and saw Jeffrey Main, 35, brandishing a metal tube, authorities say.
A woman at the scene told officers that Main ran toward her with the pipe, swung it at her head and threatened to kill her if she called the police, documents say.
Main was charged with felony aggravated assault and felony terroristic threatening. As of Sunday evening, Main was in the Pulaski County jail in lieu of $3,000 bond.
