Governor appoints 27 to state boards, commissions

Governor Asa Hutchinson on Tuesday announced the following appointments:

Allen Homra, Stuttgart, to the Arkansas State Board of Architects, Landscape Architects, and Interior Designers. Appointment expires April 26, 2023. Replaces Rajesh Mehta.

Gail Shepherd, Fayetteville, to the Arkansas State Board of Architects, Landscape Architects, and Interior Designers. Appointment expires April 26, 2023. Replaces Ronald Shelby.

Gene O’Nale, North Little Rock, to the State Emergency Response Commission. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2022. Replaces Jerry Bell.

Matthew Scott, Russellville, to the State Emergency Response Commission. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2022. Replaces Richard Dawe.

Carol Hopkins, Evening Shade, to the Auctioneer’s Licensing Board. Appointment expires April 15, 2022. Reappointment.

Dwayne Craig, Gravette, to the Auctioneer’s Licensing Board. Appointment expires April 15, 2022. Reappointment.

Scott Bradley, Little Rock, to the Law Enforcement Officers’ Memorial Design Committee. Appointment expires at the will of the governor.

James Myatt, Harrison, to the Arkansas Rural Development Commission. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2019. Replaces Robert Williams.

David Whatley, Texarkana, to the Child Welfare Agency Review Board. Appointment expires March 1, 2021. Reappointment.

Charles Flynn, Sherwood, to the Child Welfare Agency Review Board. Appointment expires March 1, 2021. Reappointment.

Andy Altom, Heber Springs, to the Child Welfare Agency Review Board. Appointment expires March 1, 2021. Reappointment.

Michelle McClaflin, Sulphur Springs, to the Academic Facilities Review Board. Appointment expires August 6, 2020. Replaces Bradley Chilcote.
