Arrest in Little Rock made over steaks in pants

A Little Rock man is accused of trying to walk out of a store Thursday with four steaks stuffed down his pants.

Employees at Shopper's Value at 6800 Colonel Glenn Road told police they caught Booker T. Watson, who also goes by Orlando Barnes, walking out of the store with steaks falling out of his waistband, according to a police report.

The report said officers could smell intoxicants on Watson's breath and found in his pants a pipe commonly used with narcotics.

Officers arrested Watson on charges of theft of property, public intoxication and possession of an instrument of crime. Watson was being held in the Pulaski County jail in lieu of a $20,000 bond Tuesday evening.
