Hannah Jane Baroni and James Ryan Aston exchanged marriage vows at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, July 7, at the home of the groom's grandparents, Connie and Edward Wernet of Santa Barbara, Calif.

The bride is the daughter of Luanne and John Philip Baroni of Little Rock. Her grandparents are Jane and Roger Hales of West Point, Ga., and the late Luis and Marjorie Baroni of Natchez, Miss.

Shannon and David Glenn Aston of Cammack Village are the parents of the groom. He is also the grandson of J.W. and Dena Benafield of Little Rock and the late Anita Carr Benafield.

The ceremony site was decorated with a gold compote filled with a white arrangement of roses, lisianthus, hydrangeas and snapdragons with sprigs of Silver Dollar eucalyptus.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a fit-and-flair gown of jersey with an overlay of textured lace. The bodice had thin shoulder straps, a sweetheart neckline and illusion scoop back embellished with lace appliques. She carried a bouquet of gardenias, white Majolica spray roses, garden roses, lisianthus and peonies.

Serving as bridesmaids were Cari Grace Baroni and Elise Anne Baroni, both of Little Rock and sisters of the bride. They wore tea rose-colored gowns of satin-backed crepe with Empire waists. They carried bouquets of gardenias, roses and lisianthus.

Groomsmen were the father of the groom and Andrew David Aston of Little Rock, brother of the groom.

A reception, also at the residence, was held after the ceremony. Garlands of seasonal foliage with clusters of roses and hydrangeas decorated a bar and the main table.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, and a master's degree in public health from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she was an honor graduate. She is a project specialist at the UAMS Center for Childhood Obesity Prevention.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from UA and is a treasury management specialist at the Bank of the Ozarks.

The couple will live in Little Rock and plan a delayed wedding trip to Mexico.
