Last season NBC had a hit on its hands with the sitcom Trial & Error, which starred John Lithgow as murder suspect Larry Henderson. Along with the laughs and corny situations, the series told a quirky tale of murder in the small Southern town of East Peck, S.C.
Actor Nicholas D'Agosto debuted in the fish-out-of-water role of defense attorney Josh Segal, whose makeshift office shares space with a taxidermy shop. Co-stars are Jayma Mays, Sherri Shepherd, Steven Boyer, Amanda Payton and Nicholas D'Agosto.
Trial & Error: Lady, Killer premieres at 8 p.m. Thursday on NBC, with a second episode at 8:30. Tony and Emmy award winner Kristin Chenoweth debuts in the role of Lavinia Peck-Foster, the eccentric first lady of East Peck, who is known for her flamboyant outfits, large hats and hairless cats. When she finds herself accused of the bizarre murder of her husband, Segal and his team of local misfits take her case.
