Former KARK-TV reporter Hilary Hunt will return to the Little Rock NBC affiliate after two years working for Northwest Arkansas sister stations KNWA-TV and KFTA-TV, according to a news release.

Before her time as an anchor in Fayetteville, Hunt served as a reporter for KARK and Little Rock's Fox affiliate, KLRT-TV. KARK News Director Austin Kellerman said in a release that Hunt left the Central Arkansas station to “sharpen her anchoring skills.”

Hunt will replace anchor and reporter Victoria Price, who is moving to KARK’s sister station WFLA-TV in Tampa, Fla. in August. Hunt will start in September, the station said.

Over the phone, Kellerman said that Hunt enjoyed being in central Arkansas, but didn't have the opportunity to use her anchoring skills at KARK. After developing those skills in Northwest Arkansas, she is coming back to the Little Rock area, he added.

"I know she's excited to come back," Kellerman said. "She has a lot of friends, a lot of sources here."

Hunt is a recipient of the Edward R. Murrow award, which recognizes excellence in electronic journalism. Before joining the KARK staff, Hunt was an anchor and reporter in Monroe, La. She graduated from Mississippi State University.
