President Donald Trump says some people "HATE" the fact that he "got along well" with President Vladimir Putin of Russia. Trump says Wednesday on Twitter that "they would rather go to war than see this."

He's also adopting the term some of his defenders and conservative media have applied to Trump critics. Trump says in the tweet that "it's called Trump Derangement Syndrome!"

The term has popped up recently among Fox News anchors, and Sen. Rand Paul used the term this week for the president's critics.

Trump is known to spend mornings watching Fox and Friends. He sent Wednesday's tweet about the supposed syndrome about half an hour after Fox and Friends host Brian Kilmeade uttered the phrase on air.

The president held a closely watched summit with Putin this week in Finland. He sought at the White House on Tuesday to take back comments he made alongside Putin that called into question U.S. intelligence findings of Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

Everyone keeps asking what does Putin have on Trump that he can summon him for a one on one meeting with no witnesses? The answer seems to me to be plain and simple and all could see it if they weren't constantly distracted by bright shinny things over here then over there.
What is it that drives Trump? It is not morality or love; three marriages during which he cheated on them all. It is not hate since he thinks everyone is a con man like himself and it's winner take all.
It's not political principle; he has supported both parties for personal and business advantages.

It's not fear of Putin ruining his reputation with golden showers tapes. No, he leaks on his own reputation every day. He doesn't care what people say about him, just so they are talking about him.
The answer to what drives Trump is ........MONEY , and there Putin has him by the genitalia. Trump has declared so many bankruptcies in the USA , no banks would provide him finances. But as his son Eric says : who cares , we get all the money we need from Russia. BINGO!
Putin and his oligarch buddies have all or most of Trump's "fortune" in banks or companies they own or control. At any moment they can make that money disappear. Without money Trump is a empty barrel of bluster and in his own mind a loser and a nobody.
How could we so easily forget "follow the money"?

@abb: Follow the Trump Foundation's money; Trump uses it as a personal tax shelter. We already know where the Clinton Foundation's money is going, just NOT from the fake rumors and innuendo put out by the far right media (including Fox News).
    .
This only further proves Trump's "correction" yesterday was fake. I know of at least two REAL presidents who dealt firmly but still on a friendly basis with Communist regimes, and they both happened to be Republicans: Richard Nixon (in spite of Watergate) and Ronald Reagan. Trump isn't doing that; he's just kissing Comrade Putin's posterior.

It's sad but true there are hundreds of thousands if not millions of Trump haters who had rather see American go to war than acknowledge ANY success by President Trump.

Hey Seed Tick Donnie - Nah, I'm right.
    .
Admit it, Seed Tick Donnie, you're one of those millions who had rather see the US go to war, the economy tank, unemployment rise, and North Korea get nukes than to admit President Trump did something right. Don't lie, Seed Tick, you know what I'm saying is 100% true.

I sure don't recall the media or anyone in Congress with their panties in a wad when Hillary set the "reset" button or Obama told Putin's minion he could do more after the election. In fact, where were they when Obama learned of Russia's meddling efforts during the election in 2016? Heck, where were they and are they regarding Hillary and Obama approving the sale of our uranium to the Russians? The stench of hypocrisy is intolerable and what little credibility the Dems may have had is gone possibly never to be regained.

Doubleblind..wishing someone's death is not only morally bankrupt, if you are not careful how you word your wishes you might find yourself explaining why you should not be charged with inciting violence or worse. Words have consequences and you lefty loons are crossing some very dangerous lines you may not be able to walk back from.
