Two teenagers arrested Monday in the killing of a central Arkansas woman found dead in her home led police on a pursuit along Interstate 630 before their eventual arrest, authorities said.

Zereak Zernell Oliver, 18, and Martieo F.D. Nash, 18, both of Little Rock, face felony charges of capital murder and aggravated robbery, according to a news release from the Sherwood Police Department.

Officers arrived Monday at a Sherwood home in the 5900 block of South Woodview Drive, where they found 46-year-old Regina Jackson on the floor with a gunshot wound, authorities said.

Emergency medical personnel were called to the home, and Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene.

Oliver and Nash went to the residence to rob someone else of a firearm, according to a police report. Oliver reportedly fired a shot from a pistol into the residence and struck Jackson, the report said.

The teenagers fled in the vehicle of Oliver's grandmother, according to a police report. While driving on Interstate 30, one of the teenagers threw a black bag containing drugs, drug paraphernalia, cash and a 9mm pistol out the window, according to reports.

Sherwood police said officers, with assistance from the Arkansas State Police, eventually arrested Oliver and Nash after a highway pursuit that ended in Little Rock.

The highway patrol division received a be-on-the-lookout request Monday night for a navy blue Dodge Challenger, state police spokesman Cpl. Liz Chapman said.

A short time later, a trooper spotted the car on I-630, identified it as the suspects' vehicle and tried to pull it over, she said.

"The vehicle failed to stop, and continued traveling on Interstate 630," Chapman noted in an emailed statement. "Troopers pursued the vehicle until it came to a stop in the area of 15th Street in Little Rock."

Oliver and Nash were taken into custody "without incident" and turned over to Sherwood police, according to the spokesman.

They remained in the Pulaski County jail as of Tuesday evening, and bail was set at $100,000 for each, according to an online inmate roster.
