FAYETTEVILLE -- A 24-year-old Winslow man pleaded guilty in federal court Tuesday to taking a minor across state lines to engage in criminal sexual activity.

Joseph Snow, also known as Joey Snow, took a 14-year-old girl to Roaring River State Park in Missouri where they had sex, according to court documents.

The girl's father reported her missing in January and provided Washington County Sheriff's Office investigators with the girl's cellphone, which had pictures of Snow and the girl having sex.

Snow's phone was tracked to Roaring River. Barry County, Mo., deputies began to search the park and found the two walking out of the woods.

Snow and the girl admitted they had sex in Missouri, and Snow was subsequently arrested for statutory rape, according to court documents.

Snow, who will be sentenced later, faces 10 years to life in prison and fines of up to $250,000. He's being held at the Washington County Detention Center.
