Arkansas Connections Academy will hold three information sessions this month for families interested in the school.
The online public charter school is entering its third academic year. It's open to students statewide in grades kindergarten through 11.
Participants in the sessions will discuss the family's role in the education process through topics such as organizing the home for the most effective schooling environment and balancing time when more than one child is enrolled in the program.
Participants also will learn how the school's community coordinators arrange field trips and extracurricular activities across the state. The sessions will be:
• Tuesday, 6:30 p.m., at the Hampton Inn, 915 Krupa Drive, Fayetteville.
• Thursday, 6:30 p.m., at Arkansas Connections Academy, 1009 Beau Terre Drive, Building O, Bentonville.
• July 31, 6:30 p.m., at the DoubleTree Club by Hilton Hotel, 4677 W. Sunset Ave., Springdale.
