Art Gallery 25th Anniversary Celebration

Beginner Painting Class

Hamburgers for Homelessness

SEARCY — Jacob’s Place Homeless Mission will host its annual Grill-Fest: Hamburgers for Homelessness from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at First Assembly of God, 101 Benton Ave. This family-friendly event will feature music, burgers, hot dogs, games, vendors and more. Tickets, at $5 each, may be purchased in advance at local banks. All proceeds from the event will benefit Jacob’s Place and will help local families who are experiencing homelessness.

T Tauri Movie Camp Finale Screening

BATESVILLE — The T Tauri Movie Camp, the youth division of the Ozark Foothills FilmFest, invites the public to this year’s free Movie Camp Finale Screening at 7 p.m. in Independence Hall at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville. Quitman High School Reunion

QUITMAN — The annual Quitman High School Reunion for all graduates and students who attended Quitman schools will take place from 2-5 p.m. at the Quitman Bulldog Complex on the east side of the school campus. Feed the Veterans

CABOT — Feed the Veterans, a veterans food pantry at 2535 S. Rockwood Drive, is open the third Saturday of each month. The pantry, which gives veterans a grocery cart so they can shop for the things they want and the amount they need, serves military veterans, their spouses and children younger than 18. Retirees, guardsmen and reservists are welcome. The only requirement is proof of military service — a DD-214 or a VA Health Care card or military ID. Art Exhibit

ASH FLAT — Award-winning artist Bobbie Hanson is displaying several of her original paintings at the Ash Flat Library through July. Hanson moved to Arkansas in 2002 and began painting in watercolor. She has branched out into other media but said watercolor is still her favorite. She is a member of the Spring River Art Guild in Hardy, the Ozark Regional Arts Council and the Fulton County Arts Council.
