Competitors to vie for title at Miss Arkansas’ Outstanding Teen

— Several young women with ties to the Three Rivers Edition coverage area will compete in the annual Miss Arkansas’ Outstanding Teen Pageant today through Friday. The pageant will take place in conjunction with the Miss Arkansas Pageant at Robinson Center Performance Hall in Little Rock.

Pageant preliminaries will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. The Miss Arkansas’ Outstanding Teen finals will be at 7 p.m. Friday.

Local contestants include the following:

• Miss Central Arkansas Outstanding Teen — Riley Ann Strube of Cabot, the daughter of Dustin and Andrea Strube — will perform a tap dance to “Sing Sing Sing” for her talent. Her platform is The Rock and Rollin’ Library.

A student at Cabot Freshman Academy, she will compete in private interview today, evening wear and onstage question on Tuesday, artistic expression in talent on Wednesday, and lifestyle and fitness on Thursday.

• Miss Conway Outstanding Teen — Kory Lynn Jennings of Cabot, the daughter of Cory and Sherri Jennings — will present a vocal rendition of “Rise Up” for her talent. Her platform is Sit With Me: Ending Social Isolation.

A student at Cabot High School, she will compete in private interview today, artistic expression in talent on Tuesday, lifestyle and fitness on Wednesday, and evening wear and onstage question on Thursday.

• Miss Greater Jacksonville Outstanding Teen — Tori Lane Kiser of Cabot, the daughter of Rick and April Kiser — will present a lyrical dance to “This Is Me” for her talent. Her platform is Special Olympics.

A student at Cabot Freshman Academy, she will compete in private interview today, artistic expression in talent on Tuesday, lifestyle and fitness on Wednesday, and evening wear and onstage question on Thursday.

• Miss Historic Batesville Outstanding Teen — Ashton Kissee of Jonesboro, the daughter of Penny Kissee — will present a vocal rendition of “What the World Needs Now” for her talent. Her platform is Be Buddies, Not Bullies.

A student at Brookland High School, she will compete in private interview today, evening wear and onstage question on Tuesday, artistic expression on Wednesday, and lifestyle and fitness on Thursday.
