A morning personality in Little Rock radio will soon say goodbye to 4 a.m. alarms after more than a decade on air.

Mornings with Lisa and Kevin co-host Lisa Fischer, who works alongside Kevin Idol on B98.5, KURB-FM, made the announcement Monday morning to listeners. Her last day will be June 22.

“What started as me filling in on the morning show turned into 12 of the most delightful years of my career,” Fischer said in a blog post. “The memories are so plentiful and rich with humor and fun.”

Fischer has worked alongside a number of co-hosts — including the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette’s Jennifer Christman — during her tenure.

Among the morning host’s favorite memories: receiving a thank you note from Kim Kardashian after she and Christman bought the Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality star and her then-husband Kris Humphries a wedding gift.

Christman said Fischer pushed for her to become a weekly contributor on the station's morning show and later rallied for her to become a co-host.

"It was an honor and joy working with her — if you can call laughing for hours 'work,'" Christman said. "I'm glad she'll get to sleep in later now — and I'm glad I'll get to text her later at night too!"

Other standout moments included asking Donny Osmond if she could lick him (he said “no”) and flying to Los Angeles to see Arkansas native Kris Allen perform on his season's finale of American Idol, according to the post.

Fischer said her next steps include writing more for AY Magazine, monetizing her website, spending time with her granddaughter and traveling more with her husband.

“If you’re a listener to B98.5, you’ll still hear my voice doing radio ads for my local clients that I love and I’ll come in for special events and appearances where I can chime in,” Fischer wrote.
