Police: Man robbed at gunpoint while sitting in vehicle outside Little Rock revenue office

A man was robbed at gunpoint Friday afternoon of more than $650 while sitting outside a state revenue office in Little Rock, police said.

Officers were called around 4:40 p.m. to Ashley Square shopping center, 9100 N. Rodney Parham Road, according to a report from the city’s Police Department.

The 47-year-old victim said he had just left the revenue office and was sitting in his vehicle when someone approached a window and asked how he was doing.

A short time later, another stranger with a dark gray-and-black pistol approached and demanded that he hand over his wallet, the report states.

Police noted that the stolen wallet contained $670.

One robber was described as a black male with dreads who stands about 6 feet 2 inches tall. He was reportedly wearing a white T-shirt and khaki pants at the time. Authorities said the second assailant, also a black male, stands around 5 feet 3 inches tall.

No suspects were named, and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
